Vero is a freelance illustrator from Spain and her digital artworks are simply amazing! The main subjects are often human figures but there’s room for animals, botanicals and much more. I love her ability to digitally paint something that in the end looks like it has been made with traditional supplies.
On her profile she often shares quick and beautiful videos in which you can see her in action and I love to see those as well as the artworks themselves, cause there’s always some little detail you can catch on a video that in the final result would be impossible to get.
I reeeeally love the first pic with the girl and the fishes, in particular the light reflecions on the scales of the animals. The brightness and the awesome gradients created there are so good, she was able to replicate the glossy and shiny details of their skin and make them look alive. The little one on the bottom compared to the big ones looks sooo sweet I love it!
The second image is a sneak peek of a larger project she completed, it’s part of her 2020 calendar! First of all I like the idea of having your own calendar (or the one from your favorite artist!) I think it’s really cool. Then nature being hidden behind the door is super nice, and in the end if you like it I’m going to have to point you to her IG profile where she recently published something about the 2021 version (there’s a big hint in this post too)!
