Sophy is an illustrator from Glasgow, her choice of subjects, lines and colors is really unique. If you take a quick look at her feed you’ll notice how well all the images match together, that’s the result of a consistent plan and a harmony of colors. She always goes with pastel tones, even when this requires her to shake up the real world reference.
You know I’m an animals lover and let me tell you her drawings and colors create quite some beautiful exemplars to look at, maybe it’s me but they’re all very cute!
Ok this snake is really really gorgeous and hear me out: she made two versions of it! On her IG you’ll find a post with the light version, different colors same illustration. I had quite some fun switching between the two to decide which one I like the most, and dark-boi won the mini game in the end.
The Colosseo picture is particularly interesting for two reasons. First of all it’s an Italian monument I’ve had the pleasure to visit and admire with my own eyes, awesome, and I strongly suggest anyone passing nearby to not miss the chance to see it. Second it’s the subject she used to create wonderful bookmarks, take a look at her shop!
