Sarah is an illustrator from Scotland, she has a bachelor’s degree in Animation and her artworks are really sweet! She co-founded Slide AR, which is an app artists can use to visualize their layered works in augmented reality, basically making them three dimensional and “alive”.
I really like her IG profile, it’s refreshing and colorful! I do believe looking at the women she illustrates can bring me strength and raise self esteem, because they all always look calm, happy, beautiful and living a life without any problems. The colors she uses also try to convey tranquillity and set you in a good mood.. much appreciated and so enjoyable!
The first piece of a yoga woman tree is super nice, it’s the autumnal version but on her profile there’s another one with spring tones. I just adore it, I also started practicing some yoga and against my expectations I found it so so good, to the point that this picture now inspires me deep breaths and I feel immediately better. The way she connected her with nature is also very nice and smooth, gorgeous!
The second image is Sarah’s contribution to the “Butt is it Art?” artbook, a Kickstarter project. I love the light in this one, the palette she chose and the way she was able to make sunrays get into this deep jungle to complete the scene, it’s just all so nice! Even the tiger looks like a soft little cat, together they’re so sweet.
