Rikke Kunst (@rikkekunst) is my pick for today’s talent!

Rikke is a graphic designer from Denmark, she does work both digitally and traditionally and posts a lot of cute little animals or monsters. Her art is energetic, full of bright colors and joyful. Sometimes there’s room for black and white too which is totally cool cause she’s very good at playing with shadows or drawing in a “comics” style.
Most of the times the subject is the only protagonist of the scene and the background is a carefully chosen contrasting color. I often fantasize and this style helps me imagine the character as a sticker or something similar, I think they would be awesome cause Rikke has a very defined line, which is something I like a lot.
The first lovely little rascal of a dragonlike monster is soooooo cute! She shared in the caption her desire to have it as a pet and I can’t help but thinking the same. It also looks kinda dull which is funny and makes it even more squeeze-able. The color of its skin is fantastic and I think the background pairs wonderfully with it. Do you think the flakes are hard or soft? I’d love them to be gummy!
The second pic is awesome look at how classy and wealthy this woman is. It seems like a lady from the past maybe it’s the clothing maybe the hair but she gives me the “films in the 60s” kinda feeling, and I just love them so much this artwork gets a bonus from me. This time she worked on some shapes in the back and I like them, it’s a nice touch, very good looking!
