Patipat Asavasena (@asuka111) is my pick for today’s talent!

Patipat is an artist and content creator from Thailand. His works in the 2D and 3D worlds are amazing, the style is mostly the comic / manga one which I love and connects with my most recent passions. The artworks are colorful and always very precise, sometimes there’s room for background and environment details some other time it’s the pose or the light who gets more attention.
The majority of the characters represented are female figures and they include original designs and developments as well as inspired artworks and fan arts. The artworks are created digitally or traditionally, there’s a bit of both, and I like every version!
The first image is spectacular, it’s a self portrait in “Attack on Titan” style! Soooo cool to see his own version of the titan transformation, the style is perfect and matches the one of the manga. I never thought of me included in one of the stories I read or see, but this illustration is proving me that from the outside it looks great to see how the artist imagines a new character in an already written world.
The second pic is an original character named “Lemon Soda”, an experiment with the software blender. Patipat worked both in 2D and in 3D for this one and shared a few details and a sketch study on IG together with the main art. I like the results and would love to see more from this high tech-y world. Very nice piece!
