Kristina is an artist and illustrator based in Sweden. She likes to use watercolors, graphite and ink to give life to some of the most beautiful animal paintings I've ever seen. In her posts you'll clearly see the insane drawing abilities she has, and this is before we even get to the coloring part. I'm talking straight up drawing an animal with a simple pencil, the base figures she obtains to start putting watercolors on are just crazy good. When it comes to colors then she often uses semi-transparent tones closing her paintings with a sense of naturalness and lightness.

Andrea is an artist from Hungary specialized in botanical illustrations and paintings. I can't remember a picture of her works that isn't a page of the sketchbook. Her style is gorgeous and always the same, she perfectioned a way of drawing and coloring plants, flowers and fruits. A common pattern in her art is the fact that she always includes comments, notes and interesting facts alongside the paintings.

Jovy is an artist, author and teacher based in Singapore. Through watercolors she is very good at representing landscapes (of all kinds, with or without water), florals (which I like a lot!) and more. Something special I noticed while scrolling down her profile are window paintings. Every now and then she'll post a view of a single particular window she found interesting to showcase colors, environment and floral choices.

Ohn is an illustrator, designer, teacher and author based in Hertfordshire, England. I was always amazed since the first time I saw her works by the ability to draw and paint everyday life objects and food with a simple yet expressive and recognizable style. I sure like a lot every time she creates an artwork that showcases multiple similar items and that's why I chose three "collections" for today's post.

Yaroslava is an illustrator and character designer from Russia. She works in digital and mainly creates female figures of all kinds. If you scroll her feed you'll see from princesses to normal teenagers, from mermaids to witches, good ones, evil ones, black girls, white girls, blondes, brunettes, every kind of mixture in the middle of what I just said and everything else I didn't mention. The surprising factor? I think Yaroslava is super good at designing the characters she illustrates because they all feel genuine and realistic.

Rainbow is an artist, painter and illustrator based in Hong Kong. She works both with traditional and digital mediums. While there's no doubt she can draw and paint anything, her most beautiful works in my opinion are the cityscapes she makes with oil or watercolors. A recurring theme on her artworks is "the night". She uses lights to reveal the subject lost in the darkness and does it so well, highlighting a few focal points in the scene and driving your eyes and your emotions to the right spot.

Julia is an artist, illustrator and teacher living in the Netherlands. While her work is usually related to hand-drawn lettering for companies, packaging, t-shirts and so on she spends her free time to make wonderful urban sketches. Something to notice is the extensive use of markers as a meduim, I think she knows exactly how to pair them to create the perfect balance between brightness of color and pleasant composition.

Nana is a wildlife illustrator from New England, USA. It's easy to get all my attention if you paint animals, in general, but she does it in such a way that goes beyond my love and passion for them. Every single piece screams "hug me" and explodes cuteness. Her profile definitely contributes to my level of good vibes every day I get to see one of her illustrations.

Anna is an artist and teacher, she lives in Berlin and is capable of mixing mediums and changing styles like it's nothing. On her IG feed you'll find just about any kind of subject and she often posts videos too. Something I find fascinating and particular is the fact that she always tries to write in the caption her thoughts, a tip, some notes or the piece's background story.

David is a character designer from New Jersey and works in the animation industry. He is capable of drawing with different styles, always showing expertise and a great sense of how to represent a character to convey a specific emotion. I really like all the animals he posts but in particular I love the tiger he uses to represent himself with, it's so cute!
