Karla is a freelance illustrator, on her profile there are plenty of artworks in both digital and traditional mediums. Often enough the style she uses for her portraits is a toonish one, but there are also some more realistic pieces here and there. One thing I noticed is that she uses to paint or draw something "strange" on her characters pretty often, like there's not gonna be many normal characters on her feed.. you are going to see a special trait or a funny pose more often than not.

Yuki is an illustrator from Osaka, Japan. He paints both digitally and traditionally and does some extremely cool and complicated characters. The colors are super expressive, the poses are always fantastic and overall it feels like every piece would take ages to complete looking at how they're precise and detailed. It gives me the idea every artwork was made as a super cool magazine cover or something like that you know

Yaiza is a traditional artist based in Spain. Her main technique is watercolors and she also uses gouache, she had experience with digital painting but felt she needed a bit of "reality" on her art and went back to traditional mediums to find that sense of freedom and the natural imperfections that make the pieces so beautiful and unique. She loves nature and gets inspired by it for the artworks, animals are in fact hands down her most painted subjects.

Jonathan is a Taiwanese-American illustrator now based in Hong Kong. On his IG you'll find many colorful illustrations often picturing everyday life moments in what could be "simple places" with "normal people". This means there are always many figures involved in the scenes and it gives him the space to play with lines, colors and details to recreate stunningly realistic environments. I feel every single bit of the canvas was well thought and had its own time for attention

Jessica is a traditional artist, she loves to paint animals and portraits and mostly does that using watercolors or gouache. Her style is quite unique I would say, there's something on her use of colors and lights that seems to be "outlining" the subject on the canvas. She doesn't do that always but pretty frequently I would say, and I learnt to use it as a trait to recognize her artworks from all the rest.

Thomas is a self taught illustrator based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. His approach to art passes through some clean and minimal illustrations while the source of inspiration comes from comics and tattoos amongst others. The limited palettes he ususally goes with help the artwork stay simple and well defined, his characters are often cool and intriguing and the combination of those two things makes up for some fantastic pieces!

Natalia is a traditional artist based in Valencia, Spain. By far her most used technique in the creation of those beautiful portraits you can see on her profile is oil painting. You will find even more don't ge tme wrong but I think that's where she gets to express her best and at the same time that's where her art conveys at its best. There has to be something hidden behind oils cause the style Natalia can produce with them is very appealing and pleasing to look at, the art "tells me more" than usual

Anaïs is an artist based in Barcelona, Spain. Her passion for drawing pencil portraits is very strong, you could say her profile is all about that. She plays a lot with faces, hair, lights and shadows and all sorts of twists to make all the drawings look very different. Out of all the styles she uses for shadows I think I like the decise and strong ones the most, they always scare me when I try them cause in the beginning it looks like you're doing something wrong, but I really love how her potraits turn out in the end! She is very good.

Selah is a digital artist based in the USA, she paints a lot and the most beautiful thing (and inspiring for me, if you will, as I'm a self taught artist too) is to look at her quick and esponential growth in the last few years. On her profile she sometimes shares a few images as a comparison tool where you can see her art from three/four years ago paired with a nowadays project. I can clearly see there was passion for illustrations, but at the same time I notice how beautiful her style has become and how much she improved.

Alisa is a concept artist and illustrator based in Poland, she calls herself a wizard and I think there is more than just a joke behind that. Many of her paintings (mostly digital art, but sometimes traditional sketches too) do in fact include a witch, some magic, a mythical creature or some sort of element relatable to a magic world. So I think she likes to imagine herself like a wizard and this passion makes it so that she likes to draw them and think about them. There is a chance it is all the other way around tho, starting from the drawings and then getting to like the worlds and the stories behind.
