Miss Paty (@misspaty) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project
Miss Paty is an illustrator and comic drawer based in France. On her profile you’ll find lots of digital paintings with a bit of traditional medium, she likes to do little cute things with paper and scissors every now and then which shows her proficiency with the more traditional way of drawing and illustrating. I find it really sweet! She comes up with funny targets and holding your creations instead of just watching them definitely has its own feeling!
It also has to come with the right amount of creativity right? To cut and draw little characters and stick them somewhere in the house where they steal a smile from you is invaluable, it touches the realm of decorating when it overflows the pure art that’s in the object.
The first piece is a collection of illustrations she was thinking about making stickers of. They’re really cute I think they would make for some pretty stickers! I can relate to the second girl holding the cat while its face is funny and strange, my Lapis does that all the time! So I super like that one. And don’t you think I missed the bag of the third lady, with another “Miao” face right there (In Italy we write miao for the cat’s call, how do you say it?)
The second pic embraces the woodland animal theme she’s been doing a couple of those, this time it’s badger’s day! It’s really nicely drawn and I can’t stop looking at the nature and the old house I think they’re absolutely fantastic, she colored them perfectly and used a style I like a lot. The house is very well detailed and the witch smoking a pipe up there looks like she’s having a calm day and enjoying the view from the heights! Lovely
