Leah Artwick (@itsleahelaine) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project
Leah is an illustrator, story artist and animator based in the Los Angeles area. Her characters are super cute, she likes to work on artworks for kids and can surely amaze them through the sweetness of her art and the colors she uses, both unique in her pieces.
Something I like a lot is she recently posted a ton of art she’s doing for a game (Shadow*Kitty) which I find so so good. I’m no expert but the characters are fantastic so I had to look at the game itself and I found out there are different princesses and familiars to go with them. I like the princesses and I absolutely Love all the familiars. The game also looks like a fun, light and easy one to pick up for a quick game night so that’s a bonus, with Leah’s artworks on top it surely checks all the marks.
Oh my god this kitten is soooo cute! It really looks like the best and sweetest version you can imagine of a little “demon cat”. Please take a second to click the image and zoom in to see the stars shining. This little love is a living galaxy, the gradients are gorgeous and the tone she used is fantastic. On her IG you’ll find many more.
The second picture is Lilly Padd, the expression on her face is adorable she really looks like a curious messy girl with magic powers that just wants to try things out to see what happens. I mean look at her feeet, what did she do? I like her “natural” spirit a lot, the longest hair and all those leafs and plants give her a strong personality.
What do you think about Leah? Do you also love what’s going on here?
