Katie is a stunning watercolor artist, her urban sketches are just wonderful! She used to paint theaters professionally but now she’s focusing on watercolors fulltime and on her feed you’ll find plenty of them!
I love the fact many of her pics are taken in place, where you can see the real subject in the background. It’s fascinating seeing how she is able to recreate the atmosphere of the moment on her painting.
After you’ve seen the animals take a second to focus on the floor, on the first image. It’s amazing, the reflections are so cool! Look at the structure of the showcase…
The luminescence of the sign is just one example of how she paints neon lights, I really like the effect and she often posts paintings with it.
In this case the red glow spreads all around and completely changes the way you would think about a night scene!
