Erin is an artist and illustrator from New York, her works are always surrounded with a magical aura and most of the times she uses blue, light blue, violet, pink and all those kind of tones to create her art.
If you want a shower of glittering and ethereal illustrations take a look at her IG feed, brings me a sense of tranquillity it almost feels like a fairy world. Out of all her pieces I must say, since I’m a true lover of animals, that all the little creatures she paints are awesome!
This sketchbook page from her Prague and Vienna trip is very nice, she created two fantastic scenes with quick lines and a single turquoise. I especially like the folds on the dress, they’re not easy but she nailed them with just a few strong and light strokes combined.
Look at the animals, the frog is so cool, it really looks shiny and glossy its skin matches the image that’s on top of my head if I think at how a frog should look like. On the opposite side the cat is perfectly showing all its fur, I can almost feel its fluffyness! Plus there’s a cute pig looking at me from the window, how can one resist?
