Eleonore Pelluau (@eleonore_art_) is my pick for today’s talent!

Eleonore is an artist from France, she paints digitally and does a lot of cute, funny, lovely little characters. She does keep her subject simple and there are usually a few basic rules to recognize one of her creations if you scroll through them on IG. I feel like the lookouts have to be: watch out for little cuties with big heads, big eyes and big ears. If you see a ton of joyful colors you’re pretty much sure you found it.. Add in a smile and there’s no doubt, it’s Eleonore’s painting!
Something I like to do is taking a look at all her posts and see how many characters I can recognize since some of them are representations or were made getting inspiration from movies. After you’ve seen a couple they all seem to belong into a single big collection and you start wondering how you’d be if she made your portrait in her style.. If I try to see myself this way I’d be for sure eating cake and petting my cat! How would you be if Eleonore painted you?
The first girl is super nice, I immediately noticed how cool the hair are, not just the color but this sort of zig-zag shape she gave her is attractive and I love how she took it to match the line on the shirt, it might not be much but it’s the first thing I saw. I also like the choice of this very explosive orange, she found a tone that pops out really well and puts the whole thing into a “let’s go play with sand at the beach” mood for me, love it!
The second pic is actually her version of a #dtiys originally from artist Yaroslava (another protagonist of one my AYoT posts here on the blog!). Eleonore brightened up the rainbow hair and I think it’s awesome now. She perfectly kept the pose, the loose purple sweatshirt and the eyes plus glasses combination so the result is on point with the challenge. It’s a big win in my opinion cause the lady is totally in her style now, and as such, it’s a cute little character you can’t just not love!
