Lena is a digital artist with a vast horizon of subjects in front of her. There's people, there are animals, backgrounds and environments, tv shows, original characters.. and it's all kept together by a couple of everyday moments sketched or painted here and there. I always love to browse profiles and when there are references to my favorite movies or TV shows I get excited because I want to find more so I end up scrolling the whole thing down to see if there's another one. If I liked it I might even go backwards to check if I missed any, and this happened with Lena!

Lara is an illustrator, visual developer and location & background designer based in the UK. Every post is stunning of course but I really really love all the locations and backgrounds she creates because every single one looks like it's into a story of its own. It's nice to try to imagine the whole picture from an angle and it's a pleasure to try with her artworks, they are so good they feel ready for the big screen. To add to that there's also the fact that her coloring skills are unmatched

Simo is an illustrator based in Naples, Italy. On top of many other activities she does something she calls "illustrated journalism" or "reportage illustrations" which I find very interesting and we will talk about that in a bit. First I wanted to tell you there's a very nice project she kept alive for quite some time together with her friend Amanda Roelle: it's a correspondence diary between the two artists during quarantine times. The project is called "i taccuini della quarantena" (there's the link down below) and it means "quarantine notebooks". It recently also became a book

Jiří is a multi-talented artist as he paints with watercolors, oil, he paints digitally and he also makes sketches. I don't know how that's possible it really looks like everything he does turns out to be amazing in the end, so props to him! I've got words to spend for every post I get to see on his IG profile. The majority of his artworks are portraits in which I feel there's a decent number of both male and female figures

Fang Pei is an illustrator based in Guangzhou, China. The author of some of the strongest and most expressive landscapes and skies I've seen on IG throughout the years. It's actually the combination of bright colors with good contrast and the perfect light effects that makes it for me, it really gives impressive results. A constant on the artworks are surely the amazing clouds that most of the times capture my attention, those aren't fluffy, funny and sweet clouds they're thick and important, they have a big presence

Sarah is an artist and teacher from Scotland and she's a true master of landscapes! Many of her artworks are also plein airs which is a thing I admire a lot and want to try it myself. I especially love when you can see the real place standing right behind the painting cause then I can start looking at details to undestrand how that little rock was made, how this little shade was represented.. and so on. Luckily Sarah's feed on IG often gives me the opportunity to have fun this way.
