Anna Sokolova (@annasokolovaartist) is my pick for today’s talent!

Anna is an artist and teacher, she lives in Berlin and is capable of mixing mediums and changing styles like it’s nothing. On her IG feed you’ll find just about any kind of subject and she often posts videos too.
Something I find fascinating and particular is the fact that she always tries to write in the caption her thoughts, a tip, some notes or the piece’s background story. It’s a small thing but in the end they all add up and I feel like I know her a little bit more each and every time I take a moment to read.
The first image is part of a series, a collaboration with Netflix for a grand total of 25 pieces related to their TV shows. I watched and liked many of their series so I found tons of cool details and little secrets in her drawings. This one in particular for The Witcher is beautiful, she used an iron wolf to represent the hero and I think she obtained a wonderful result.
The second image is a gold leaf and ink portrait, I think she nailed every little shape and color combination here, there isn’t too much of anything but there’s so much in total. This kind of portrait would be perfect on a glass piece of furniture or printed on playing cards, it’s the type of art that calls for attention and deserves it, super good!
