Angela Maria Sierra (@risochan) is my pick for today’s talent!

Angela is an artist and teacher based in Amsterdam, she works primarily with watercolors and procreate to be able to enjoy the magics of digital paintings yet still experience and keep the freedom of the traditional medium. Her style gives life to original and unique paintings.
She usually goes with portraits cause she wants a human face as the main subject to convey emotions and beauty. The textures and colors she paints with transform every face into an awesome experience, I have yet to find one that didn’t surprise me!
The first image is so beautiful, she only needed the eyes and a silhouette to give you a grown up woman, and used some kid-style drawings on her skin to remember you that there’s still a little girl somewhere inside. It’s a lovely combination.
The second piece in a similar fashion is there to represent the nature inside, it’s a self-portrait actually. Notice again how little face she exposes but how many emotions she can paint. The plants are perfectly layered to not be too strong and take over the painting, she used various degrees of opacity with a great result.
