Andriy Vynogradov (@vynillus) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project
Andriy is an illustrator and storyboard artist based in Germany and his profile is stunning, it’s basically the place where he posts his “spare time” drawings and the sense of liberty coming out of it is just amazing. The fact it’s like a playing field where all his art can live and it doesn’t depend on his everyday life makes it so that we can appreciate the sketches, the experiments, the colors and all the things he likes.
By far portraits and the human body are his favorite subjects and in drawing them he makes an exceptional use of lights and shadows, empowered by all the black and white illustrations that really shine only thanks to that.
The first image is just his top nine on IG from last year and since I said I like the liberty of his profile I think looking at all these drawings in one place was a great opportunity to experience that feeling. I love his technique and a few of these were finished so well they almost look like a photo!
The second pic shows a woman he posted more than once at different stages, it’s interesting cause you can see how the artwork evolved following the time he was able to dedicate to it. I like the result a lot, if you want to you can look at his feed and search for the early stage sketches to appreciate the transformation. Lovely
What do you think about Andriy? Do you also love what’s going on here?
