Vit (@vitkaninn) is my pick for today’s talent!

Vit is a digital artist based in Europe, currently studying graphic design but drawing for passion since long ago. Vit’s art is quite unique because after a long journey (shared on IG stories if you want to give it a look) the style and the medium were adjusted bit by bit to reach the final form we see today: mainly portraits with frequent apparences of textures, geometrical and abstract elements that complete the piece.
I love the dimension all the artworks get into when the textures and the elements interwine with the face, creating a special feeling.
In the first image you can clearly see how expressive the woman looks mostly thanks to her eyes but also for the circles added on her cheeks. It’s the kind of touch you recognize wasn’t just put there cause why not. I also find the texture on the background to be absolutely on point, it makes sure the artwork isn’t flat and helps focusing on the face. It’s a beautiful painting.
On the second art I’m going to share something directly from the caption: “it’s a sketch”. What? ok.. I’d just say it’s pretty good for a sketch. Knowing this if you zoom in and compare other works with this one you get to see how many details need retouching before a finished artwork becomes alive. And this one is gorgeous already! It only shows how much work it takes Vit to go from idea to sketch and from sketch to artwork, it helps me admire even more all the pics I see on the feed.
