Giada is an illustrator and comic artist from Italy, she is studying animation and one day will tell us all her own stories giving life to her creations. On her feed you’ll find any kind of illustration, sense of humor isn’t missing and many times you’ll recognize characters from movies or the tv shows you like the most.
It strikes me that she can change style with such ease ranging from the cartoons, sometimes stylized sometimes less, to the delicate and precise digital illustrations you’re used to see at the movies. I like all the shades of her works and I’m always looking for a new character!
The first image is obviously Allison from the Umbrella Academy! I love the work she did on the dress, needing just a few basic shapes to convey all that motion, impressive. The geometry it creates is super cool. “Pssst” … “I heard a rumor that you’re going to her profile to find all other characters from the show!”
The second picture is Giada’s representation of Sif, goddess of wheat and fertility of earth. I absolutely love all those hair and the laces she’s using to keep them together. I also think the expression on her face and the fact that she looks sorta blushing add a lot to the whole piece, they are super sweet touches. Fantastic!
