Maia Faddoul (@maiafadd) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project
Maia is a designer and illustrator from Montreal, Canada. Her works often come with a strong empowering message she puts right into the image.
Almost every artwork hides (or shows!) a meaning and I feel inspired by her. She drives you to think about a topic she cares about and I feel like her art, in this way, is at the top.
On her feed colorful female figures, patterns and illustrations merge together to create a wonderful journey!
The pieces “GRL PWR” showing inclusion and diversity and “Respect women & their rights” are two examples of how she includes her message to the world using lettering and mashing it with the portraits.
Did you notice the green girl’s earrings? She makes them in real life! How cool is that? You can browse her etsy shop (link below) to see all kinds of shapes she creates.
What do you think about Maia? Do you also love what’s going on here?
