Shanan Subhan (@whatacurls) is my pick for today’s talent!

Shanan is a Software Engineer by profession and an artist by passion. She’s inspired by nature and mostly uses watercolors and acrylics as mediums.
If you look at her feed you’ll find lots of landscapes of every kind (mountains, fields, seas and so on..). All her paintings are very colorful and I like the compositions she creates for her pictures.
The tangled pattern of flowers has an hidden touch I’d love you to catch. The petals have little lines and dots and it looks like they’ve been sewed in the paper!
The acrylic painting looks very good, I especially like the mist in the foreground, makes it moody. The touch of yellow instead gives hope! It’s like sun rays hitting the fog, at least that’s what I see 🙂
