Panchami Shetty (@brushpaint.n.everything) is my pick for today’s talent!
If you don’t know what A Year on Talents is here you can find the description of the project: A Year on Talents Project
Panchi (she said to call her so) is not only a fantastic artist but a friend of mine too. I once discovered she was coming to Italy for an holiday trip and asked to meet her in Milan.
I recall so many good memories from that day!
Just a wonderful person, she smiled all the time and from that point on we write and send gifts to each other every now and then to see how we’re doing, no matter how far apart in the world we happen to be.
This experience teaches me how connecting with other people is so nice and rewarding.
The point of this series, a year on talents, is exactly to spread this kind of message and experience as much as I can.
Behind the artwork you can always find an artist, and who knows, that person might also become a friend!
The landscapes are her main subject and the study on the seasonal transition you see here is so beautiful. Looks like she’s been able to turn an exercise into a masterpiece.
This cheetah is superb and the shadows in this painting are so on point, turning a 2D image into a 3D world!
