Marianne is a watercolor artist I’ve been following for quite a while now, and I recently also got the pleasure to take part as a host in a painting challenge with her traveling all the five continents of the world through art (#worldtourwithart if you wanna see all the creations that were posted under that challenge).
Look at the depth of the two paintings here! The use of lights and shadows is gorgeous and the fact that it’s looking like you’re taking a peak from a flowers bush really makes it all so much better.
It’s between mysterious and romantic for me and I can almost smell the scent of the roses.
She recently adopted this new style I’m liking a lot but if you scroll through her feed there’s much more to see!
